| Figures 4(a) and 4(b) above show typical pulse wave forms measured with an L-17D DLVA using a tunnel diode detector. This DLVA was built with ANADYNE’s PC17D-1 test and evaluation PC board (see below for board details). Although no recovery nets were used, the pulse recovery times are very fast - less than 40 nanoseconds in the case of the -10 dBm pulses. In practice, the DLVA may be set up for much faster or slower rise times, depending on the needs of the particular project. These data were taken by Hung Nguyen. | |||||
