  1. If you use R18, R19 or R11, you may find it necessary to place a 1nf capacitor in parallel with the resistor to stop oscillations.
  2. We recommend putting a reverse biased diode, or two Schottkys in series from pin 17 to 18 to prevent reverse biasing the output emitter base connection which can degrade the output transistors. Use low capacitance diodes. Similarly, diode protection for the A1 inputs should be provided if they are likely to exceed 2.5 volts. If you wish to run the circuit with bipolar input signals, please follow the instructions for doing this on page 31.
